When we can expect release? In weeks, months? :-)

I'm optimistically targeting the end of this year.

I am hungry for phpScheduleIt v 2.0, it is even more awesome when you open and look at the codes!!!
I do hope it is the end of this year so that I can plan for our school room booking application upgrade too.
thanks!

Another demo release:

Features: Add to Outlook, CSV exports for reservation reporting, better resource configuration, clean up and bug fixes.

This also includes the first swag at blackouts (under Application Management/Reservations/Blackout Times).  Please post your feedback on this approach to adding/managing blackout times!

However, even under the Admin userid, I could not seem to do any of those things. Am I missing something? I did notice that there is an 'add' function on the Manage Schedules screen so perhaps the 'add' for Users and Resources is not in the alpha as yet.

Add users is not there yet, but add resources is.  It's the third option under Application Management.

Thanks for the new features, I had no opportunity to test them yet, but export to Outlook and CSV sound great. Also thanks for the option of only deleting future events when managing a recurring event. Not sure if that was possible before, but I just found it a couple of minutes ago.

I tried adding a blackout in the demo but clicking the "create" button didn't do anything. Tried with Opera 11.52 and Firefox 8 on Linux. From an interface point of view I had hoped to get something more similar to the "add reservation" page. Maybe with the "show conflicting" options replacing the participants/invitees part?

Could it be possible to have an additional option such as "Proposal" which would consist of proposing to the client, that already placed a reservation, a better solution that fits his needs?

Do reservation invitations work, or do you need something more elegant?

Well, i am not sure if it fits the case. But as long as it can be a counter-proposal to a demanded reservation, i guess it's fine. I'm looking for something that intervenes when you approve reservation. In the case the reservation has criterias that can't be met, i would like to make a counter-proposal prior to the approbation just to avoid refusing the reservation and make the user place some other reservation that might not be met too.

But i guess i can work with the reservation invitations in the special cases i have when people rent my studio.

Hello,

I have been looking at this as an option for our schools for a long time.  Is there a way now with version 2 that we can setup a 6 day cycle?  All of our schools use this instead of the regular 5 day work week.

For example:

Monday - Day 1
Tuesday - Day 2
Wednesday - Day 3
Thursday - Day 4
Friday - Day 5
Monday - Day 6
Tuesday - Day 1
Wednesday - Dan 2
etc.....

Thanks,

Dan.

Looks and feel good.
When logged in as standard user and I click Schedule---Resource Calendar , I got the following error:
Catchable fatal error: Argument 3 passed to CalendarPresenter::__construct() must implement interface IReservationViewRepository, instance of ReservationRepository given, called in /home/nkorbel/public_html/demo2/Pages/CalendarPage.php on line 67 and defined in /home/nkorbel/public_html/demo2/Presenters/CalendarPresenter.php on line 36

It appears also standard user could not make a booking.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

I am studying the possibility of depoying PhpScheduleIt in the company I work for but I have read in the net that, at least previous versions, doesn't support Active Directory or that it is not easy to use AD to do the login, is it solved in the new version? I've read some of these posts but I didn't find anything related to it.

As the rest of anxious members, any idea about the date for releasing the beta?

Thanks a lot!

What kinds of additional fields are you looking for?

Not yet, but I am planning on adding the ability to create more advanced layouts.  The best I can suggest now is starting the schedule on Monday and having it show 5 days at a time.  This wouldn't prevent weekend reservations, though.
