Hi Nick and phpScheduleIt Crew, :-)

I would love to be able to add codes to a sidebar widget of my wordpress site/blog that included info like:

Torching This Week! (I have a Lampwork Studio and use the schedule for people to reserve torch time)
Alysson - Friday - 1pm to 5pm
Jo - Saturday - 2pm to 6pm

highlight is the info that is inserted and that would update per week...

and so on... I'd only need for it to work the current week (for my studio that is on a Mon-Sun calendar schedule) and it would change as the weeks go by and reservations are made or cancelled.  This is so people who are visiting the site can see that someone is going to be at the studio (without having to go to the reservation system and log in) and they may decide to sign up because of that.

This would be great OR if there were a way to post a smaller version of the "Schedule Calendar" in the sidebar of the site in a weekly view?

Any suggestions help?  Thanks Much!  Deb

This is a cool idea.  In the absence of any real API into phpScheduleIt, you may be able to consume the RSS feed (filtering out what you don't want to show).

The alternative would be to build some sort of web service API that can be used for stuff like this.  This is on my TODO list, but behind quite a few other things.

This may help.   I created a way to publish a URL of a reservation.  See: http://php.brickhost.com/forums/index.php?topic=9775.0

Hope this helps..

Hi AJ,  I appreciate the suggestion and response. :-)  That seems (I say seems because I'm an uber novice at php) more than I need and not quite what I need.  My reservations need to be made individually because people don't reserve a room where many may attend, they reserve one seat to torch at so anyone who joins has to reserve their own seat.  I will however look more closely at your coding to see if some of it may be helpful... that is if I can properly decipher it. :-)

Again, thank you for offering it to me. :-)
