Enhanced registration

I'm trying out 1.2.4 on my local test site while trying to decide if I want it included in my live site. One of the biggest obstacles right now is the registration process. As far as I can tell, the only options are to have Admin add everyone manually or to let anyone who finds the page register and start sending reservation requests. I'd love to see something a little more robust such as the registration system for this forum where the user has to confirm their email address or the admin approves every registration.

The scheduling system looks good so far. With registration improvements I'm sure we could use it!
