I haven't been able to reproduce this testing with IE 6 on my local machine.  I'm going to try a couple other things to try and figure out what would be causing this.  My guess is some javascript, though.

Perhaps this could be a version / service pack issue?

Maybe upgrading/downgrading could be a temporary fix?

Mine is running absolutely fine and snappy!

I've tried phpScheduleIt on 7 PC's, all with IE 6.0.2900.2180.xp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519, and all but one of them show this problem. I am trying to work out what's different about the one that isn't slow...

I have tried IE7 beta 2, and it suffers from the same long delay as IE 6.

I'm still not able to reproduce this.  How many resources do you have showing on the schedule?  Can you try reproducing this on the demo at http://php.brickhost.com/demo.php

I have this problem on two different installations in my network.  One installation is slightly faster than the other.  I think that the difference is that the faster installation only has blocks listed in 2 hour increments from 12 - 12 (12-2, 2-4, etc)  The slower install has the entire day broken out into 30 minute blocks of reservable time.

This is on two different servers the slower one running 1.1.1 and the faster running 1.1.3.  I suspect that the release version of phpscheduleit has nothing to do with the speed difference.  That I believe to solely be the number of blocks used.

In FF it loads very fast.

Nick,

I have recreated the problem on the Demo.  What I did was create 17 resources all within the Schedule 1-3.  I then setup the schedule to show the hours between 12a-12p in 30 minute intervals.  The result was that it took nearly 2 minutes to generate the page in IE6 during which time the CPU usage for IE was 100%.  The same page loads just fine w/ FF.

Man, finally I don't feel like I'm so crazy!

I hope this leads to some hints!
