Using the system for shift management

Hi,
Newbi here...
Was wondering if the system is suitable for shift schedule management. Basically having a group of employees who need to submit their shifts preferences where an admin can later log in, see all the requests etc...
If I'm completely off the idea of phpScheduleIt - can you recommend a system that does that?
Thanks in Advance,

That sounds outside the scope of phpScheduleIt. I'm sure there are open source shift scheduling applications though. Try searching SourceForge.
