PHP version:4.3.11
MySQL Version: 4.1.14
Browser Firefox 3.5.7 and IE 8.0 occurs in both.

When creating a new resource I can enter in a minimum and maximum reservation length of time. After the the resource is saved the times revert back to the default and the drop down bar grays out and is not selectable while editing the resource. When a user is scheduling the resource they are able to schedule the length of the reservation based on the default values. All other fields and options are working correctly, including minimum and maximum booking notice.

I am very new to PHP so I have no clue where to look for a solution.
Thank you for any help.

I'm not able to reproduce this.  What version of phpScheduleIt are you using?  Have you made any code changes?

I have this issue too. Fresh install of 1.2.12.

PHP 5.2.6-3ubuntu4.5
mysql  Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.75
apache 2.2.11 (Ubuntu)
happens in both chromium (5.0.349.0 (40991) Ubuntu) and firefox (3.5.Cool

Cheers

I had the same thing occur - both the being unable to edit the time ranges, as well as the being able to schedule longer reservations.

I did find two things on scheduling that may explain it:
-  If I am logged in as admin I can schedule whatever I want regardless of resource settings
-  If you check "allow multi day" on resources, it appears this overrides the hour ranges you set

Does this explain what you are seeing?

I saw the drop down issue on Firefox 3.6 for Mac, brand new 1.2.12 install. XAMPP, mySQL.

Very nice catch.  The first condition completely overrides any constraints.  The second condition will only limit the min/max for the first reservation, not the recurring ones.
