Hi,

This is my first post so I'd first like to say thank-you for a truly amazing piece of software! Now on to my feature request ...

Presently (v1.2.11) permission to book a resource is conferred on a per-user basis via the 'Manage Users' sections and clicking 'Edit' at the user's line in the Permissions column.

It would be great to have something similar available within 'Manage Resources' which would present a list of all users from which permissions for that particular resource could be modified.

This would be especially useful when a new piece of equipment arrives alongside a list of approved/trained users. At the moment permission for the new resource would be granted by editing each user, one-by-one. It would be much easier if it were possible to add the new resource and then open a list of all users, checking the appropriate ones for access.

Similarly, equipment is sometimes re-allocated to a different role with a different list of approved users. Reflecting this change in the scheduler means either deleting the resource to remove the existing set of permissions, re-adding it back into the system, then establishing the new set of permissions by editing each user one-by-one ... or editing permissions user-by-user to remove or add access rights.

This feature would also be a quick way of displaying a list of who has access to a resource, which is something that our administrative people like to see from time to time.

Thanks again,

 - Dave

PS I did search to see if this was already requested, but I couldn't find anything. Apologies if I mis-queried and have double-posted!

Sounds simple enough.  I'll get this on my list.  Thanks for the suggestion!
