Scheduling 2 resources

Hi,

I wish to use phpScheduleIt for booking appointments for clients with therapists in a clinic.
I need to book a therapist and a room to accomplish that. I thought of defining the therapists and the rooms as resourses and to derived a new reservation form to enable me to select a room and a therapist (and a user ofcourse) and reserve both when we click the save button.

Is that a good approach?

That approach would work great.  Have you thought of defining either the room or the person as an "accessory"?  That way you could use the existing accessories functionality.

First I wish to thank you for your quick replies. I have started working with phpScheduleIt last week and I feel that it will be very useful for the task I have at hand.

The limitation that I see with the accessories is that the system does not have a way to show the reservations for an accessory like it shows for resources. I need the view that we get from schedule.php, the one that list the resources with a time grid, with the booked slots clearly showing. I need to see the same view for the Therapists and for the Rooms.

At this stage I defined 2 schedules one for the Therapists and one for the Rooms and I created each Therapist as a resource and each Room as a resource and associate each one of them with the appropriate schedule.

My new reservation form will allow capturing a Therapist and a Room and I will need to handle creating the second reservation myself.

Wish I could avoid doing that but I can't see how to get it any other way.
