logon page - "logon name" changed to "email a

Our system has been working fine, but then today something very odd happened.

On the initial logon page, the first field used to be "Logon Name"
now suddenly it has changed back to "Email address"

I have not gone into the config file to change anything.

When I return home, I will check to see if the setting in the config file has changed... if yes, it is pretty disturbing because to me it would suggest it changed by itself somehow.

Any ideas?

Someone had to update something.  It reads those values from the file and has no way to write to it.

Yeah, I suspected as much but to my knowledge I am the only one who would be doing anything to those files.
It turns out that the value in the config file was altered.

I will ask others who have access if they did anything.
