Hi Folks,
I wish to upgrade to a stable release of 1.2 with the new LDAP configuration.  I tried the beta version,
but the upgeade failed due to error in upgrade file using automagic installation.

Please let me know when the rc1 or stable release of 1.2 may be available.

thanks for the great work!

I tried upgrading from 1.1.3 to 1.2 RC1 and I got one error during automatic DB upgrade. the system works with browsing feaures and the data from the old version is tehre, but none of the user edits work due to DB reference errors.
please review the upgrade scripts... I'd like to use the new version of the software but am dependend on upgrading the old DB to the new system.

The new verison also suports user groups but I do not see any value added to them - can one email just the defined group or set special permissions for users of each group for various resources? I don't see anything liek that in the new veersion except for an added classification of users into a user group, with a group admin.

1.2 stable is released now.

The added benefit of user groups at this point is that a local group admin can now manage reservations, permissions and user data for a specific group of users.  This means you can have a group admin which just has those privileges and does not have the ability to modify application settings like schedules, resources, etc.

That's what baffles me - I did the upgrade, with one error indexing a table upon upgrade - and the release version in the footer says 1.2.0 RC1. none of the DB updating functions work.
I downloaded the package about 5 hours ago from Sourceforge....

The RC1 tag at the bottom is just a text issue.  I forgot to update the release number.

Did you try a web update or manual update?

I saw the same error on a web update of 1.1.1 to 1.2.  Everything APPEARS to be ok, but I didn't really do any major testing at this point.

I get that error message whenever try to change my profile or whenever I click on a scheduled reservation to see it's details

There was an error executing your query:
DB Error: no such table

There does appear to be an issue with the 1.2.0 web upgrade.  The manual upgrade worked fine for me.  I'll have a fix for this as soon as I can.
