The idea behind this modification is to introduce the idea of resource manager. A resource manager can manage and approve reservations and can remove user from using that resource.

The implementation create a table to associate memberid, machid and rights to the resource.

In using the modification, user are placed in groups and resource managers are assigned as group managers. Each group manager are associated with resources through a new database table.

Through configuration, resource manager can replace administrator in receiving reservation email pertinent to resource managers' resource.

The modification can be found at: mindedwebs.com/CL/CmmntySrvc/OpnSrc/

Modules are added. Modification to old file are marked with +- in comments.

When I work on this project. I found that the code is well organized and commented which I admire. Personally, I haven't be able to organize my project to this level.

Thanks.

Hi,

This patch was exactly what I was looking for, to schedule resources.

While everything else works, I am facing one problem - The resource manager can't approve reservations. When a resource manager clicks on 'Approve Reservations', he can see the requests, but as soon as he clicks on 'Approve', only a read-only view of that booking is presented. Same goes with managing blackouts as well.

Ideas?

Never Mind - Figured it out. The user needs to be part of the same group as the resource manager.
