Can't figure out the reminder part. Where do I run crontab - at a command prompt at the host? I did this using putty, but root login has no entries, and web login kicks me out of putty session. I am total newbie. Dumbed down instructions are appreciated. Here are instructions from readme:

Open your crontab editor: crontab –e

Add a line to the crontab entry of the user running the web server process to run the email reminder script. Replace the directory structure below with your phpScheduleIt install path:
1 * * * * cd /web/directory/phpscheduleit/cmd; ./send_reminders.php

Is this your local server or a hosted one?

You may want to google this or do a man for crontab.  That will explain it better than I ever could.
