Creating a paper record

This program is perfect for our environment... well almost perfect.
We will be using this program to schedule equipment used by our students and faculty (laptops, projectors, etc). When someone stops by the circulation desk to pick up a piece of equipment, we currently fill out a form (contract) and ask them to sign indicating that they received the equipment. This paper record is useful in the event something is lost or stolen.
I know that this system doesn't yet have equipment circulation functionality, but it would be helpful for the desk staff if we could print out our contract from ScheduleIt.
In our testing, I believe that if I could change the formatting of one of the search results layouts, we could just print that document out when someone comes to pick up the equipment and eliminate some of the manual work. Problem is, I can't find the file that contains the formatting of those reports.
If you see some reason why that won't work, I'm open to other suggestions as well.
Thanks for your help, and thanks for a great program!

All formatting is within the templates directory. For searching, it would be usage.template.php
