I installed pnpscheduleIt.  How, as a user, can I add a reservation?  I can bring up the calendar and the listings, but I don't see how to add an item at a time and date.

What I want to do is have the user who logs in make a reservation.  I also want to have several items that can be scheduled for users to make reservations.  I see how to add items (I think) and that is as an administrator.  The rest I don't see,

There are many boxes, "My reservations", etc. but clicking them does nothing.  Also clicking or double clicking a date does nothing.

Is there an instruction manual somewhere?

I looked in "Help", but it wasn't much help.  I does appear, though, that for some reason I might be in read only mode even though I logged in.

After adding resources as an administrator, you will either need to check the "auto apply permissions" checkbox, or manually grant the user permission to use resources.

I was able to create a resource and then was able to schedule it.  As an administrator, when I get to the blackouts, how do I set the blackouts?  For example, suppose I want it available only Mon, Wed and Fri from 8 to 6 and I want 12-1 also blacked out.  How do I do this?  I see the five lines for Mon-Fri, but nothing (as an administrator) does anything more.  BTW, I had already set auto-permissions.  What I didn't realize was that I first had to create a resource (duh!)

You create blackout times by clicking "Manage Blackouts" from the control panel, then scheduling them just like you would a reservation.

Of course I went to "Manage Blackouts" from the control panel.  The problem was that nothing I clicked did anything and I was unable to black out anything.

I just tried again today, and now it works?Huh  I don't understand why.  It brought up a window that I could do things with.

Here iare a couple of other questions:

1) I have two resources.  I have one schedule that both resources are using.  When I bring up the "Manage blackout times", it brings up both resources and I can manage each resources blackout times.  What I would like to do is to manage the **schedule's** blackout times.  For example, if I choose to create a schedule MWF so that it is only available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, then the blackouts should be the other days.  Then when I assign a resource to that schedule, I would pick up the blackout.  Also, I could add a lunch time for the same purpose.  As it now stands, I don't see how to do that except to do it for each resource.

2) Another item of interest is that there does not appear to be an "unlimited" for the ending date.  It would be nice to have a "set it and forget it" option on the end date.

3) On the manage resource, what is meant by the minoimum booking notice and maximum booking notice?

4) On the manage resource, my minimum and maximum reservation time is greyed out?  What could be a reason for this?

5) How to I get the system to send the user an email reminder of the reservation say, one or two days prior?

1) This is currently not possible
2) Good suggestion.  This is an item that is on my to do list
3) This is the amount of time needed before a reservation can be created and and needed after it ends.

For example, take the situation of a min of 1 hour and max of 4 hours.  Say the current date is 04/18/2007 with a user creating a reservation on 04/18/2007 at 1:00 PM for 5 hours.

In this example, the user would have to create the reservation between 9:00AM (4 hours prior) and 12:00 PM (1 hour prior).  Trying to create the reservation before 9 or after 12 would be denied.

4) If you have multiple day reservations allowed, there is no way to set a min/max reservation time.

5) This is covered in the readme.html
