Nick,

I have a few users I would like to convince to use this program. They currently keep schedules in excel.

  Date                     Day                Location        Time                      Notes
01/06/2007   Saturday   SCHS Aux                   5:00-9:00   We cannot use – too late of notice
01/07/2007   Sunday   Parr's Ridge ES   12:00-5:00
01/07/2007   Sunday   SCHS Aux                   1:00-9:00

With some changes to the the column formatting, can I import this into phpscheduleit?

Thanks

Dave Taylor

Importing can be accomplished.  There are a few posts on this forum showing how some users have accomplished this right now.  If you can't find them please let me know.

Hi Nick:
I have sort of the same problem that dapmco had.
I have a the timetable of all the classes of my Faculty in a separate database and I would like
to import it within phpsheduleit, so thate the proper classrooms appear as reserved for the entire duration of the semester.
I can output the timetable data from my own database in almost any format and I could even be able to
write some PhP code if this makes the import easyer.
I read that someone has posted solutions to this but I was not able to find them so far.
I will keep searching...
However, I would appreciate if you could direct me to some of them and, in case,
tell me what of them you believe are the easyer and "safer".
Thank you in advance,

      Carmine.
