Hello -

I just installed phpScheduleIt on a remote server for a client, and all seems to have gone well.  ie - tables were created, config file was changed, etc.   Even got the login page to load.  But I can't log in.

How do I populate the database with admin login info and sample content?

Thank you.

Just register a user with whatever email address you set in your adminEmail config.php setting.

ok I did try logging in as the admin@mail.com

// Login email for the administrator [admin@email.com]
// It will be used to allow special admin features
// And as the contact email address for users with questions
$conf['app']['adminEmail'] = 'admin@email.com';

and I used the password for the admin but I can't login in for some reason
//------------------------------------------------------
We could not find that logon in our database.

     You can try:
Registering an email address.
           Or:
Try logging in again.
//-----------------------------------------------------

and even after I register an user, It gives me the same page as before

There was an error executing your query
DB Error: unknown error
Back

I'm back to square one. And also I did changed the prefix, but all I get is a page that saids that you can't log in.

PS
the error was found at function insertMember($data) in the AuthDB.class.php file for the registration.

There is a bug in the 1.2 beta/rc releases, but this stuff is bug-free in 1.1.x

Ok this is weird, for some reason the log file is not being created or saved.  I looked at the path name for it in the config.php file but it is still doing nothing.  And I think because of this, I can't login as any user, not even the administrator. UNLESS I go through the registration page.  Why? and What can I do about it?

Also all of the scheduling pages are readme only, NO ONE can edit anything to the schedules.  What to do?  Sad

Every user in the system must register first.  The reason the resources are readonly is because of permissions.  You can change that by giving the user permission or by setting 'auto assign' permission in Manage Resources.
