Hello gang,

Hope you are ok in these times.

So we are having a bit of restrictions at school now. So you are only supposed to book 2 days if you need to. But one smart student is booking ALL the slots but every other day, hehe.

Is there a way to block this Wink

Certainly there are Users that love to find ways around restrictions.......  (that's both good and bad, IMHO.... Smiley

In Booked Scheduler there are Quotas that the Admin can put in place - they won't do an "every other day" sort of thing, but they might be enough for a "booked within a week" sort of rule.

Another thing, you might put that one student (User) in a Group by itself and give more restrictive Quotas or Resource access.....  That may/not work as they might tell their friends to work around the rules, etc...... - making you chase all over trying to manage it.....

Of course, when you really know the issue(s) and what rules you want to put in place - and Booked's Quotas (or other 'work-around' configurations) don't do it for you, then there is always a custom plugin - which gives you an exact rule that fits your personal situation (not just the generic things that you can go inside Booked Scheduler).

Should you need help building one - that is our speciality!

We build custom apps and add-ons (plugins up to full blown apps) for clients all over the world.

Contact us for a quote on time and cost - these sort of 'one-off' rules are usually built in a couple days and are very cost effective (as well as effective at blocking those 'smart' students!)
