Hello guys,

Does anybody know how to clear those files in the tpl_c folder?

Because I wanna do some customization on the front-end pages(to modify the .tpl files), but when I manually deleted those auto-generated files, the booked crashed after I refresh the browser (not totally crashed, but couldn't open some pages).

I checked the Smarty's documentation, it said clearCompiledTemplate() can be used to clear these compiled templates

Since I'm totally unfamiliar with the Smarty template, so I simply created a PHP file at the booked's root directory and  wrote
"require('lib/external/Smarty/Smarty.class.php'); $smarty = new Smarty(); $result = $smarty->clearCompiledTemplate();"
and this file didn't work at all.

Looking forward to hearing any helpful reply, thanks a lot.

Two different ways:
1. Under the wheel/gear in the menu line choose Server Settings, and then click the link for: Template Cache Directory: ../../tpl_c/ Try to flush cached files
2. On your server, delete all the files in the tpl_c folder

Yes.. I took over the app to move it internally and found that folder by accident and just guesstimated the association with cache/sessions and just deleted them and the page updated again.
