I share my issue during a fresh installation of version 2.7.1

i had 2 different problem:
1) in a fresh installation, during database setup process
- create database checked
- create user unchecked (user already created by hand)
- import sample data unchecked

the script database_schema/create-data.sql failed at line 7

insert into layouts values (1, 'America/Chicago', 0);

and i have to modify it removing the last column data, to

insert into layouts values (1, 'America/Chicago');

2) in a fresh installation, after setup, during the creation of the Admin account, with the following settings:
- email enabled
- self registration enabled
- all email notification setting enabled
- smtp configured

I receive this error

ProcessAction Error. Action register, Error Exception: There was an error executing your query\nData too long for column 'activation_code' at row 1 in /var/www/html/bookednew/lib/Database/MySQL/MySqlConnection.php:131

I receive the email for account creation notify, but not the activation email.
To resolve this issue I have updated the activation_code field in the account_activation table and set to nvarchar(50), it was nvarchar(30). In version 2.6.8 it is nvarchar(30) too, but i didn't try email activation. It seems the auto-generated ActivationCode is too big, more the 30 char. I didn't investigate further on the code to understand the reasons this can happen.

Maybe it won't fail with other settings, but I didn't try it.

Hope this can help.
