Dealing with past events

A number of times I tried to make reservation or do various edits and nothing appeared to be working. Then I figured it out. I was working on times in the past. The program ignores it, but I don't think it should. I think it should at least warn the user editing times in the past may not be what is intended. Or an option to force all calendar editing to start on the current day and then or thereafter.
