Hi Nick,
do you think it should be possible to hack the code and let Admin add a few user into "Participating User"  instead of "Invited User". So if I have 2 user "for sure" I could insert them into Partecipating and invite others until the maximum number is reached.

The idea is very simple.  It would just be a small change to the UI, really.  Thanks for the suggestion!

This is a feature I will schedule for the next major release (which will likely be 2.0).  Unfortunately, this is many months out still.
