Pivoted booking calendar

Hello,

Your app is the most advanced one I have seen.  Great job.

Are there any plans to make the Booking calendar pivoted with the days of the week on the top and the times on the left so that it matches the Resource calendar monthly view.  Or a plan to combine the booking functionality into the Resource calendar so that the Resource calendar will have the clickable time slots to book the resource.
Currently the monthly view and the booking pages are separate and combining them into a standard monthly
view or something similar would be useful.

If not, could you give me some details on how I could modify your code to make the booking calendar show a monthly view and pivoted.

I second this request.  This feature is probably the most requested that I get from users here.

Is being able to book from the calendar views good enough? If so, I'll try to get this in 2.3.

Hello Nick,

Yes if by "calendar views" you a referring to the Resource calendar monthly view then that would be a great step.  So would you be able to display the time as well so that when a user views the calendar they see the time slot at a glance ?
Eventually I am hoping that you would be able to combine the status colours that you have in the Booking view into the monthly calendar view, but I know that is a lot of work.

When do you hope to release 2.3 with the bookable calendar view ?

I'm wrapping up work on the reporting feature now. I'll be looking into this soon. Hopefully I'll have 2.3 out in a month or so. It's hard to say because the amount of time I have to work on the project fluctuates.
