Great system... love your work.. looking forward to the "periods" hack.
Also interested in a tracking mechanism for resources... its great that we can book resources...... but I don't see anyway of tracking that resource other than in the notes field of that resource. Say a student or staff member comes to collect the resource they booked.... with our existing system.... we issue the equipment and its noted. Then on return... the device or resource is "returned" so at a glance we can tell whats still outstanding at the end of the day or completion of the booked time - to go chase them up.
So from what I can see....
A resource could have a "issued" or "on loan" field and a returned field. This would be good for keeping track of damage of items, unreturned items, over due items etc.
In the case of a room... these field would not need apply.
From that a report can quickly be generated on the overdue items etc.
Thoughts ?
my university is very intrested in this program. the tracking mechanism for resources is critical.
how can we help in the development of this module . do you have an outline or guideline on how to fork the current version .
This was posted awhile ago and for my use of the system it would be a really good feature. Is there any future plans on building this into phpscheduleit 2?
