Maybe I have missed something - but so far everybody who has read access to a reservation also can see every attribute!? It would be extremely helpful, if e.g. certain internal numbers or comments within a reservation were only visible to a selected group and/or admins.
Except for this, it's really already a great piece of software, thanks!

Have you upgraded to the latest phpScheduleIt. You can setup a security feature so if someone doesn't have permissions to the resource they can't see any of the information.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to check this! But I still think this is no solution for my problem since I want to give the group access to the resource, though not to all details...

Field level access isn't something that's been requested before. Can you give me some more details on how you'd use this?

I'm looking at the same problem.
Any registered user can see the details of another users registration. This is what I would like to prevent, or the option to not show the Title and Description of a reservation.

I think this would be a very useful addition. Here is what i see it doing.
Example The admin adds a Checkbox to the Reservation with a title of Paid. Only the admin can see this. When the people arrive or if they have previously paid for the Resource it will be shown but ONLY to the admin. This is not at all visible to a regular user. Other things that could be user are for example type of payment (cc, cash, cheque), cheque number, etc. I am using this for a ice rink and the office staff are not at the rink location so it is very important that the on site staff know the Resource i paid for before they let the people skate. By the way this is a great system Thanks for all you hard work!!

We might be able to use field level access to redesign how we display pricing information to external and internal clients. A custom attribute drop down list with permissions granted to a specific internal versus external user group could be a nicer solution for us. Currently we only display the top rate pricing and notify internal users thru our policy handbook and emails that they receive a discount.

It sounds like this should be possible with the privacy enhancements in 2.3

Hi John, Could you give me some additional details as to what you're looking for from a privacy/security standpoint?
