I have just created a fresh install of 2.3.5 and am now experimenting with it. One of the problems that are still remaining in my set-up is that all pop-ups are barely readable because they have a transparent background. Example: I log in, go to schedule and try to create a new reservation. When I now click on the begin or end date, I get a "calendar pop-up" to choose the date from. This pop-up has a transparent background, so it's hardly readable as all existing text on that page shines through.

The same happens for all pop-ups, whether they be reservations, administrative configurations, and so on. If anybody has an idea what could be going wrong here (maybe some CSS problems?), I'd be very grateful. In case it matters: The machine in question has no internet connection - I already ran into that with the jQuery stuff, which by default gets fetched from external servers...  Grin

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Is the local jQuery config setting turned on?

Sorry, forgot to mention that: Yes, it is turned on (figured that one out after some buttons would not work at all...  Grin )

If you can, I'd use the CDN version of jQuery. There is a bug in 2.3.5 when using the local files.

Hm - thanks for the hint, but I have no experience with jQuery whatsoever and that machine has no internet connection. Is it possible to download and install an offline version of the CDN version and if so, could you point me in the right direction for some documentation? Thanks in advance!

Never mind, I've fixed it. I started out by downloading jQuery-1.8.3 and jQuery UI 1.9.2 and replacing the ones that were included with phpScheduleIt. It was only then that I found what was probably the actual bug: In tpl/globalheader.tpl (and subsequently, some files in tpl_c), there was an include link to jquery-ui-1.9.0.custom.min.css - that file did not exist. There was only jquery-ui-1.8.17.custom.min.css and jquery-ui-1.9.0.custom.css, so my assumption is that this was the original bug: The CSS file could not be found. But as I had installed all updates anyway, I'm using them now Wink - and it works! All pop-ups are now readable and usable again!

Cheerio,
Thomas
