Just curious if this bug had been reported and possibly fixed in 2.02? If I setup a Schedule Layout to include the hours:

10:00 - 12:00, 13:00 - 17:00 as 60 min blocks

and exclude

00:00 - 10:00, 12:00 - 13:00 and 17:00 - 00:00

Then when making a reservation, the appropriate times are available on the Booking view but when setting an Ending time on the reservation page, it is always offset by one hour later. So for example, if I make a reservation for 10am and I want it to end 24 hours later, the earliest I can return it is 11am. The other problem is the one hour offset allows users to set end times that were blocked off originally. One my schedule example, the one hour offset allows people to end a reservation at 12 noon, which is our lunch hour Smiley or at 5pm, which we are closed.

I was trying to use the schedule layout to specify working hours for my facility...this way people can't make a reservation to return gear when we are closed.

So I found a temporary fix for this problem...it actually looks like the system will offset the End time by whatever increment you setup in your schedule. So my example was for a schedule built around every one hour...but the same happens for every 30 mins.

The fix I found was to use the optional label feature when building your schedule layout:

Format: HH:MM - HH:MM Optional Label

So I would have the system autofill the layout by half hour for example and attached the label basically repeating the starting time:

10:00 - 10:30 Open at 10
10:30 - 11:00 10:30
11:00 - 11:30 11:00
11:30 - 12:00 11:30
12:00 - 12:30 Closed
12:30 - 13:00 Closed
13:00 - 13:30 1:00
13:30 - 14:00 1:30
14:00 - 14:30 2:00
14:30 - 15:00 2:30
15:00 - 15:30 3:00
15:30 - 16:00 3:30
16:00 - 16:30 4:00

For some reason this forces the system to include all of the times in the Beginning and Ending drop down on the reservation page.

It works though Smiley

I guess one other question... since you have 17:00 - 10:00 blocked off, why would you want to book for 24 hours? Why not just end the original reservation at 17:00?

I was using the blocked times to designate "Operating Hours" for our facility. We are only open from 10am-5pm and I didn't want users to mistakenly schedule something outside our hours.

Maybe I was using the feature for what it wasn't intended Smiley
