I recently installed v2 (the migration didn't work) so it is in an entirely separate directory with a new db. http://molloycollegelibrary.com/phpScheduleIt2/Web/index.php appears to work w/out incident other than a little tweak I requested earlier.

The problem is my current installation v1.2 and I don't know why, but now when I go to this: http://molloycollegelibrary.com/phpScheduleIt/index.php it presents this:
**************************
There was an error executing your query:
DB Error: no such field SELECT g.groupid, g.group_name, ug.is_admin FROM user_groups ug INNER JOIN groups g ON g.groupid = ug.groupid WHERE ug.memberid='sc14e808d988240e' [nativecode=1054 ** Unknown column 'g.groupid' in 'field list']
Back

phpScheduleIt v1.2.12
***************************
I've just received the old "we don't support this go to your developer" message from hostgator. Since now I am completely down and no one can access current reservations I was hoping someone could help. At this point, we plan to fore go the migration and start w/v2 next semester.

It sounds like either the database settings are incorrect or the database wasn't created properly.

The old version has (had) been up and running for nearly a year. I am connecting but then encountering

You don't have any suggestions of what might be causing this?

Thanks,

Judy

If it was up and running with no changes, my only guess is that somehow the database schema was altered behind the scenes.

no matter what I try, what is ever present is that member id. Here was another error when I tried to set a new user

There was an error executing your query:
DB Error: no such field INSERT INTO permission (memberid, machid) SELECT "sc14f7216fc5c01a", machid FROM resources WHERE autoassign=1 [nativecode=1054 ** Unknown column 'machid' in 'field list']

Where is that ID coming from and is that something they could perhaps check, that is, if they are even willing to...

Back up your DB first, but have you tried migrating again using 2.0.2.  I believe the migration was fixed in that version.

This is what we had to do to get migration working in 2.0.1 http://php.brickhost.com/forums/index.php?topic=11013.msg19314#msg19314
