I am on phpscheduleIt 2.0.1 and I keep receiving the following error when I try to select server settings: Image Upload Physical Directory: Web/uploads/images (Permissions: 0770). I have tried to change the permissions on the image directory to as many different permissions as I could think of. Any suggestions? Can anyone tell me what exact permissions need to be set on the images directory.

Those permissions should be ok. Are you actually seeing an error page?

Who is the owner/group of that directory.
Usually, apache run as www-data(user)/www-data(group).
So, changing group of the directory to www-data, may help you.

I'm on Apache Server and had to set the Permissions to 777 to get the images to work at all.

0770 doesn't work for me neither.  I have root:www-data as the owner.  0777 worked though.

I lied, 0770 works just fine, am able to upload images to resources.

Image Upload Physical Directory: ../../Web/uploads/images (Permissions: 0770) still shows up under server settings making me think I have an error as it's trying to correct itself.

I had the same. Uploading did not prompt anything and image did not appear. Once I set the folder to 777 it started working.

(btw. with osx firefox upload popup gives horizontal scroll...)
