I'm hoping that this is built in somewhere, and just not turned on in my install, but I have a feeling I'm out of luck.  So if that is the case, can anyone help me figure out the best way to do this?

When booking a reservation, if you book a time that will overlap with blacked out time, for example, you get the print_all_errors function results.  When you click the link, you end up going back to a blank form, and you have to re-enter the data.

I know that the admin functions have data preservation capability, but not on the reservation form?  How can I set it up so that when you click the "return" link, the data that was entered will be restored?

Thanks for any and all help.

Replying to my own post seems silly, but thinking about this, I'd be fine with an error alert, which wouldn't remove the data either.  Is there some way to check the times and dates availability on submit (which would be the only conflict causing this)?

Nick, yes, I have, and I definitely see potential for my installation, but it would take me a while to understand the code and build in my reasonably extensive modifications.  I'm wondering if the "lightbox" functionality could be easily be built into 1.2.12.

Thanks

It will probably be a pretty big effort. You'd need to change the form to submit asynchronously, then display the results in a div on top of the current page. jQuery will be your best friend with this Smiley
