Nick - I'm excited by the 2.0 beta, particularly the pluggable authentication. I patched 1.x to use Cosign for authentication and LDAP to retrieve user data. I'm guessing the best way to achieve this in 2.0 would be to base a new plugin on your LDAP plugin, but check the HTTP_USER and cookie values to verify the login?

I'd be grateful for any tips/pitfalls you could mention. -geoff

I can't think of any pitfalls really, but I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with. Once you get going please let me know if I can help.
