I just installed phpScheduleIt at my place of work - a university library. It seemed to go fine. Still testing and checking stuff. One important snafu. I installed on a remote host. It is LAMPd environment set up for me. I had also installed another open source web app that I'm also considering on the same server, same phpmyadmin, but different database. Installing the phpScheduleIt sql stufff semes to have resulted in two thing: 1) the other apps' stuff is al gone now or at least from "my view" and 2) my admin ID no longer has permissions to create a new database so I can't even re-install the other app. Any idea what would cause this? I'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

I have no idea. Did you install by copying the files yourself or was there an installer available from your host?

I am in the same situation with you.
Anyone know the reasons?

I never had such issue. But the best and right thing to do is:

1) "the other apps' stuff ..." try to debug it by running it even it fail and look into the apache log file to find what the error is and resolve from there. This is a very powerful method to resolve issue with webapps

2) In term of creating dbase. You need to look at mysql error messages (notice it is a similar approach as 1) ...). And go from there

also, not so often error message are misleading such as no permission is actually a out of space for example. So watch out for that and take that as a hint.

Post your results from trouble shooting back, we will try to help further.
