There seems to be a bug in how the quotas are enforced. No matter how I choose the settings, it prevents users from scheduling an overnight run.

Examples:

Quota is set to 3 hours per day, including completed time, enforced between 8 am - 8 pm.
(I have also tested this with "not including completed time" and I see the same behavior)

It correctly enforces 3 hours between 8am-8pm (spread across multiple events or one long event).

It correctly allows me to schedule an event at 9 pm even if I've used up all 3 hours in the afternoon.

It correctly limits my time to 3 hours even if I have some time scheduled in the morning before 8 am.

IF there is nothing schedule on day 1 and day 2, I can schedule an overnight block (e.g., from 9 pm to 7:30 am)

!! Once there's an overnight block scheduled (using the example above, completely outside the enforced time limits), I can no longer schedule time during the enforced period of day 1 (but I can schedule time in the enforced period of day 2).

!! The reverse of the previous example is also true. If I have even a short block of time scheduled during the afternoon of day 1, I can no longer schedule an overnight block from the evening of day 1 to day 2 (even if the start and end times are outside the enforced time). Again, if I have stuff scheduled during day 2, that does not prevent me scheduling an overnight run from day 1 to day 2.

Summary: this makes no sense given that I can correctly create individual events in the morning/evening during the non-enforced times even with the enforced time completely filled up. As soon as the non-enforced times are joined together into a single event it erroneously triggers the quota on the first day despite none of the scheduled time falling in the enforced period.

This problem will crop up often based on our use cases. - students will schedule an instrument to run some test samples in the afternoon and then try to schedule an overnight run but will be unable to do so.

Granted, there is the kludge of scheduling the evening and then the following morning as separate events, but then it doesn't show up on the calendar as being all night, so it would be ideal if the logic actually worked the way it's supposed to.

same request also from my side.

I need quota rules also for participants (similar to what already implemented to CREATOR)

In my case, principle is to avoid that participant join multiple meetings during the day/week just because has been invited by someone else.

e.g. having a quota on participants, CREATOR during reservation cannot invite participants that are already "overloaded" in the week

I want to hide .php from address bar. After applying the rewrite rules, .php extension is hidden from address bar, but almost all the save / update buttons don't work.

I am using Booked Scheduler 2.7.7 with IIS 8.5 and PHP 7.4

Here is my URL rewrite
Code:

<rewrite>
  <rules>
    <rule name="Redirect .php extension" stopProcessing="false">
      <match url="^(.*).php$" ignoreCase="true" />
    <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAny">
      <add input="{URL}" pattern="(.*).php$" ignoreCase="false" />
    </conditions>
      <action type="Redirect" url="{R:1}" redirectType="Permanent" />
    </rule>
    <rule name="hide .php extension" stopProcessing="true">
      <match url="^(.*)$" ignoreCase="true" />
    <conditions>
      <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsFile" negate="true" />
      <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsDirectory" negate="true" />
      <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}.php" matchType="IsFile" />
    </conditions>
      <action type="Rewrite" url="{R:0}.php" />
    </rule>
  </rules>
</rewrite>

Thank you so much

We did a report of this sort for a client one time - I'm sure we could dig it up and update/mod it to your needs.

To get an estimate of time/costs for it, open a ticket at https://cashflowproducts.com/helpdesk

I need to be able to display the overall room utilisation for a period. The built in report shows the utilisation per day per room.

I just tried installing this today, and I am getting this same issue. I see things like this show up repeatedly on this forum, but no one responds. Do people give up or figure it out on their own?

Sorry if this has been addressed, but my searches show inconclusive answers. I'm running Booked 2.7.1 on Ubuntu Linux.

We have Google Suite and use Google sign-in for authentication,my question/issue is this: When a user enters a reservation, we would like that reservation to also update a "MAIN" reservation calendar in Google, for example "Main_Booked@gmail.com". Basically, this is a snapshot of the "Resource Calendar" !

I see version 2.7.7 states "Outlook & Google Integration" but wonder if it solves my answer. I'm also a bit leery about upgrading and "breaking" the current version.

Any help/thoughts/suggestions appreciated !

Regards...RegMatt
